COMPETITION INFO
LENGTH OF BOUTS – Intermediate, Advanced, Elite, & Open: Three 1.5-minute periods; All Others three 1-minute
periods; Overtime-Sudden Death: One- 1 minute period followed by a 30-second ride-out period if necessary.
WRESTLING RULES: USA Wrestling Card is NOT required. This is a Folkstyle Tournament. P.I.A.A officials will be used and
P.I.A.A modified rules. EVERYONE must have PROOF OF AGE if challenged, INCLUDING the PERSON ISSUING the
challenge.
IMPORTANT: Once you have qualified for the REGIONAL TOURNAMENT, you MAY NOT enter another
DISTRICT TOURNAMENT. ANYONE WHO DOES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM ADVANCING TO THE REGIONAL
TOURNAMENT.
AWARDS: Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each weight class.
UNIFORMS: One-piece singlet or two-piece uniforms are REQUIRED. Headgear is not required. Facial hair is allowed

ADVANCEMENT: Top 4 place winners will advance to the West Regional Tournament on April 18-19 at the Nittany Valley Sports Centre in State College, PA. A $30 advancement will be collected at the District Tournament. A 1-lb weigh allowance will be given at the Regional Tournament. Top 4 at the Regional Tournament advance to the Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association’s Eastern National Championships on May 3-4. A $30 advancement will be collected at the Regionals Tournament. An additional 1-lb weigh allowance will be given at the Eastern National Championships
