Pre-Folkstyle Nationals

For wrestlers 18 and over regardless of whether or not they are wrestling in college to prepare for the USA Wrestling Masters Folkstyle Nationals or to practice getting competitive officiated matches.

Optional Open Mat for participants on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 6-8 PM

Must have a valid and current USA Wrestling Card with SafeSport completed.

Wrestlers can wear a singlet or tight-fitting shorts and a t-shirt.

Periods will be 2-1-1 unless all participants agree to a different period format.

Join Victory School of Wrestling for a month for $40 ($10 off regular price) and get the registration fee waived (must sign up before March 1). Victory members may participate for free.

There will be NO weigh in. You will give us your anticipated weight on that day, but you will not be making a weight for this event. NO NEED TO “CUT” WEIGHT! High school rules will be used. No riding time. Three points maximum for back points. No “cylinder” for out of bounds.

We will match up wrestlers based on age, level, and weight for the first round. After the first round, we will continue to help or wrestlers can do their own matchmaking.

Pre-register: $30 by March 1, 2022
Pay at the door: $50

$30 will pay for the event
$40 will pay for the event plus one month of Masters practices at Victory. (Practices are held 10 AM Saturdays and Sundays at Victory School of Wrestling)
